Not all is what it seems...... I have both single seat and dual seat bodywork so I can swap the whole lot within 10 minutes.
To be honest, it's far more comfortable with the long tank/single seat set-up though. It allows me to stretch out a bit as I've had my spine welded following bone disease. If I have the short tank/dual seat set-up on, I have to take a ruck of pain killers about 15 minutes before take off :'(

Ooooh. Nice paintset there. Wanna sell ?
No, I'm going to be greedy, and keep the body set...too hard to find decent sets that are original...that set is off my other KZ1000A1 but, I suspect, that bike may never get re-assembled..so what I have is all kinds of spares for the other KZ1000A1 247

Must agree about the 'Green'...I was watching (on eBay) a non-running, non-FI 1981 GPz1100 painted up in ELR finery, and it sold for US$3000. If that bike would have been red, it would not have reached US$3000.

Maybe so but as someone that now prefers stock to custom I really do like that. Very American in style and just what the world view of US riders is. You know, the long straight highways and the boulevards in the cities then pulling at a shop or cafe under a palm to meet old pals. Oh cr@p I`m getting all sentimental

Here's my mutt. Sorry to all the purists out there but if it makes you feel any better the only mod to the frame is some grinding to the brake pedal mount.

Hey A3Holger, very nice bikes! I like the idea of covering the frame tubes with tubing when installing the engine, not sure about assembly in the living room though.....I would never get away with that!
