I need to brighten my engine. The alum. Is dull and before I put back in frame , I want the motor to shine. I need help and want to improve looks without damage or dis-assy. What works Ray |

I soda blasted mine in the chassis. Plug the intakes or any openings, obviously. |

Scrubbing bubbles, 0000 steel wool dipped in mothers, tooth brushes, WD -40 and alot of beer One of my first Z's long time ago before ![]() after ![]() Same bike.This was what it looked like when sold. I miss that Z1

Thanks, your bike looks great. I found something else that really works is Purple Polish Step 1 and 2. Is is cheap , about $25.00 for both from Amazon. This stuff work great. I did my complete engine in less than 5 hrs. Works on shining mirror finish and on the case alum of the block. Check it out. Ray |
